A downloadable game for Windows

Cauldron It's about Herbert the hamster. Herbert was bought by Kaine Billford (the player) at a pet market. However, Herbert is no ordinary hamster but Herbert Duke of Weedfield. The last heir of the golden rye. Weedfield (the game world) has been occupied by Hilda Bringinsbett the black sorceress, who is now up to her mischief. Herbert has been kidnapped by her and she now demands the treasure map of the Weedfields from Herbert. However, being a hamster, Herbert can remember very little, so he has drawn the location of the family treasure on a map. The map has disappeared. Kaine knows nothing about all this, except that he has to find Herbert and free him. Quite a tricky situation...

Who is who?

Herbert the Hamster: the last Duke of Weedfield. Heir of the golden rye.

Kaine Billford: Penniless good-for-nothing who prefers adventure to work.

Hilda Bringinsbett: Cynical wich who studied black magic extensively and mistakenly became a warlock.

Robert the Tandler: Deals in sundries and hears the grass grow.

Old Box Tavern : The best, only tavern far and wide.

Weedfield: Can't be found on any map. But once you're there, it's hard to get away.

Dragon Gotya: Always grumpy and stupid like straw.

The Treasure: No one knows where it is, except Herbert who drew the location on a map. But unfortunately the map has disappeared.

The game looks and sounds gorgeous for something made in coppercube! Can't wait to play the full version!

So much motivation! Thanks PsychMandril.  But compared to your art it's too much praise.✌

Beautiful environments.

Thanks ❤

One of the most stunning games made in Copper Cube 6, no doubt about it, yet the game does lack a great deal of substance.

The visuals are out of this world. The fantasy look, the characters in the game, the multiple enemies, they are all flawless. I loved the environment design, the ambient music was very calming and the optimization of the game definitely shines bright among all the rest.

Now, as far as it goes to the gameplay, there isn't much story or lore to it. The game just starts without any explanations. The characters seem less 3 dimensional and more like figures in the game, just existing for no reason. I would highly recommend to add dialogue, notes and some indication of what the character is supposed to be or what they are meant to do. I did like the "power ball" coming out of the character's hand, but again, without context it was less impactful. Maybe adding the story behind the character's powers would improve the immersion. Furthermore, I was very intrigued about the "quest" part - why was the main protagonist collecting gold? Why did he roam around different biomes? That all can be explained with a simple note or a couple of dialogues.

I see this game as a big potential for creating an RPG style project or something like that. You know, progress makes it perfect. Best of luck with the development and I am truly looking forward to the next update.

Cheers!

Thanks Niven. I made the dialogues today. They should explain whats going on.
