The game Pirates Empire is a fully functional game project for PC.

The aim of the game is to trade between the islands and the colonies.

The player can buy and sell as well as attack opponents and take their cargo.

The game was created entirely in BlitzBasic.

All game files, graphics and models are the property of Christoph Schmucker and may only be used with this project demo.

Manual:

Rotate and zoom camera - middle mouse button

Raise/set anchor - click on anchor symbol (blue)

Raise and lower sails - sail symbol up/down

Rudder - left/right

Map - click on the map 

Harbor - moor and anchor

Trade - click trade symbol (trading book)

Wind direction - Wind direction display at the top left

Fire weapon - key 1

Wind pointer (Rooster) - Waiting for better wind (+1 day)

Note the map is randomly generated. After each restart, the distribution of islands and colonies changes.

The game was written for Windows95. It should work with every Windows version except 3.11 

Sound is not implemented.
